Here we go with another wonderful year in the Teaneck Camera Club.
Let me introduce myself. I’m Rachel Katic your new President, and I would like to take a moment and welcome our newest officers: Kathy Duke – Vice President, Maria Costa – Membership Director, and Tom Babich – Field Trip Coordinator. All other Executive Board Members are returning to their respective positions.
I’m excited about working with all of you this coming year. I will do my very best to continue along the path of enriching your Club experience with the help of all the members.
You’ll note that we have a brand new web site and look. I would like to thank Laura Downs-Buma and the entire web site committee for their hard work and time putting it together. Excellent job!
Now a few words about the club. Our club ranges in membership from newbies to professionals. We have members still shooting 35mm film to digital. you will find a wealth of knowledge and photographers willing to help you. Rumor has it that you will make some new friends and have a GREAT TIME!!
This year we have some fantastic programs coming up. Instructional programs that help teach better and more importantly… more fun photography.
We all have specific areas of photographic interest, and I would like to get an idea of where we can offer programs that satisfy those interests best. I will be looking to some of you to share your areas of expertise and excellence. Leading a club workshop may be in your future. Additionally, I would like to have a better appreciation for where each member is in relation to understanding their cameras and software. This way we can present programs that better fit individual needs. I will be asking your input on these and other issues. We can deliver programs that suit all interests and skill levels, but we can do it better when we hear from you on a regular basis.
GET INVOLVED… share your ideas, thoughts, issues and time.
Stay involved… participating in club planning and execution makes this a better club for all.
Remember, this is our club and you have a say in how it is run. I encourage and look forward to your active participation.
